homeless people in the East End of London for nearly 130 years and is currently
engaged on a programme of development and expansion to meet the changing needs
of those we serve.

Founded in 1876, Whitechapel has been caring for the poor and homeless
of London regardless of race or religion, in their struggle against hunger,
poverty, disease, prejudice and exclusion.
Whitechapel Mission is the
only place to obtain a cooked breakfast in the City or the East End. The
only place open weekends, Bank Holidays, Christmas, Easter.
