Whitechapel looking for runners

We need to field a team of 200 runners and we hope that you may be interested in running with us, and by doing so, helping us raise the much needed funds to support some of London’s most vulnerable.

We also understand that in previous years it can be difficult to raise sponsorship for your run and even more difficult to collect the money after the event, so working with JustGiving we have an easier way for you to support the Mission and not have to worry about collecting the money after the run.

The London10K run is a huge fundraising opportunity for the Mission. Together we can maximise it’s potential in helping the Homeless and disadvantaged.

The 2008 British 10k London Run - the 10K that really does Run London - takes place on Sunday 6th July 2008 starting at 9:35am.

The Whitechapel Mission have guaranteed 200 places for 2008. We will be entering a team of runners in this event in the hope of raising much needed funds to continue its work amongst London's homeless.

Founded in 1876, Whitechapel has been caring for the poor and homeless of London regardless of race or religion, in their struggle against hunger, poverty, disease, prejudice and exclusion.

Whitechapel Mission is the only place to obtain a cooked breakfast in the City or the East End.
The only place open weekends, Bank Holidays, Christmas, Easter.
